IGF-2 LR3 — 1200 mcg

$29.24

IGF-2 LR3 is an unresolved product designation. Available specifications clearly distinguish native human IGF-II from Long R3 IGF-I, so biological claims about either cannot automatically identify this differently labeled material. For research use only; not for human or veterinary use.

Research Use Only. Not for human consumption, diagnostic use, or clinical application. Priced items use order requests; unpriced catalog listings are inquiry-only.

Full description

Educational research context. The cited studies and supplier descriptions do not verify the identity, testing, or effects of this Heritage product.

The requested name combines “IGF-2” with “LR3,” but the sources reviewed did not establish a sequence-defined molecule corresponding to that exact designation. Thermo Fisher describes recombinant human IGF-II as a 67-amino-acid protein, whereas Sigma documents Long R3 IGF-I as an IGF-I analogue with a position-three substitution and an additional thirteen-residue segment. These are separate molecular descriptions. A seller name containing both terms is therefore insufficient to determine which backbone, substitutions, extension, or final sequence is actually intended.

The IGF-II supplier documentation discusses proliferation and survival of several cell types in vitro and supplies activity data from a defined cell-proliferation assay. The Long R3 IGF-I documentation instead emphasizes a potent supplement for serum-free or low-serum cell culture. Those statements explain the nearby research concepts, but they are not evidence that a product called IGF-2 LR3 has the same properties. This entry preserves the requested designation while leaving its identity unresolved; a sequence, molecular characterization, or manufacturer specification is needed before assigning either body of literature to the material.
