CJC-1295 With DAC is a long-acting GHRH analogue engineered to bind albumin. Developer and human studies describe prolonged stimulation of growth hormone and IGF-1 rather than direct administration of either hormone. For research use only; not for human or veterinary use.

CJC-1295 With DAC combines a modified growth-hormone-releasing-hormone sequence with an albumin-binding drug-affinity complex. The design aims to preserve receptor activity while extending the time the peptide remains in circulation. Umbrella Labs presents this as a way to produce prolonged stimulation of the GH–IGF-1 axis. Unlike direct growth-hormone replacement, the approach relies on the pituitary’s ability to release its own hormone in response to a releasing-factor analogue.
In two randomized, placebo-controlled studies reported by Teichman and colleagues, healthy adults showed sustained increases in growth hormone and IGF-1. The authors estimated a half-life of roughly six to eight days and described accumulation of the IGF-1 response after repeated exposure. A separate human study by Ionescu and Frohman found that GH pulses persisted despite continuous stimulation: average and trough GH concentrations increased without a change in pulse frequency or magnitude. They proposed potential clinical utility for long-acting GHRH preparations in people whose pituitary retained GH-secretory capacity. Together, these sources frame CJC-1295 DAC around prolonged endocrine stimulation, preserved pulsatile secretion and investigation of the GH–IGF-1 axis, rather than equating it with the shorter-acting no-DAC analogue.
